The present invention relates to insecticidal mixtures of chloronicotinyl insecticides of the formula (I)in whichR1represents C1-C5-alkyl,R2represents hydrogen or C1-C5-alkylorR1and R2together represent —CH2—CH2—; —CH2—CH2—CH2— orX represents an NH group, NCH3group or represents sulphur,Y represents nitrogen or a CH group andZ represents cyano or nitro,with one or more of the synergists mentioned in the description.
