ABSTRACT:
Novel substituted N-(p-aminophenyl)-N'-benzoyl ureas of the formula ##STR1## wherein each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.5 alkenyl, each of R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 independently is chlorine or bromine, and each of R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 independently is hydrogen, fluorine or chlorine, with the proviso that R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 are not both simultaneously hydrogen, processes for the manufacture of these compounds and compositions containing them for use in pest control, especially for controlling insects harmful to plants and animals. The novel compounds inhibit feeding damage and have in particular a pronounced ovolarvicidal and ovicidal action against plant-destructive insects.
