ABSTRACT:
A method of killing insects by dispersing boric acid, neat or in mixture with other ingredients, e.g. diatomaceous earth or extenders, etc., into spaces and onto surfaces known or believed to be inhabited by insects to be killed and thereafter heating the spaces and surfaces onto which boric acid has been dispersed to a temperature of at least 110.degree. F. for a period of at least about one-half hour or greater until substantially all insects in said spaces and on such surfaces are dead.
