The image sensor15of the information processing apparatus1can capture the retroreflective sheet17subjected to infrared light emitted from the infrared emitting diodes11since the retroreflective sheet17is exposed when the open-close portion19is opened. Therefore, it is possible to detect the input device3. On the other hand, when the open-close portion19is closed, the image sensor15can not capture the retroreflective sheet17since the reflective sheet17is not exposed. Therefore, the input device is not detected.
