An inkjet printer is provided having a housing, an elongate print media transport assembly mounted in the housing, a pagewidth printhead mounted in the housing so as to be located at a print media entry side of the print media transport assembly, and an air duct mounted in the housing so as to be arranged to deliver air to said transport assembly in order to dry print media in use. The elongate print media transport assembly has one or more conveyor belts which are of a length to facilitate warm-set ink drying of the print media during operation of said belts at the predetermined speed.
