ABSTRACT:
An ink-jet recording sheet comprising a reflective support having thereon a porous ink absorbing layer containing a dye or a pigment, wherein a color difference ΔabL defined by the following formula is not more than 7:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?ΔabL=[(a1−a2)2+(b1−b2)2+(L1−L2)2]1/2in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein (L1, a1, b1) and (L2, a2, b2) each are a set of coordinates (L*, a*, b*) defined in a CIELAB color space and measured on a surface of the reflective support adjacent to the ink absorbing layer and on an outermost surface of the ink absorbing layer respectively, and a2is in a range of −2 to 2 and b2is in a range of −4 to 4.
