ABSTRACT:
An ink container filling structure comprising an ink container removably mountable in a recording device, and an ink container filling section having a fit section in which the ink container is filled and which fits in the delivery port of the ink container, wherein when the ink container is removed from the ink container filling section, the ink is prevented from dripping from the ink delivery port to soil the operator's hand or the ink container filling section peripherals. It is arranged that the direction (the direction of arrow (A)) of fitting the fit section (20) in the delivery port (11) of the ink container (1) is obliquely downward with respect to the horizontal direction.
