ABSTRACT:
Disclosed is an ink composition which comprises water, a dye selected from the group consisting of Direct Blue 199, Direct Yellow 132, Acid Yellow 17, Reactive Red 180, Acid Red 52, and mixtures thereof, and a material of cation and n is an integer of from about 3 to about 20, wherein the ink is substantially free of imidazole. Also disclosed are ink jet printing processes employing the aforementioned ink.
