An ink composition having, as essential components, at least a diacetylene tetraol compound represented by general formula (1) below and a glycol ether represented by general formula (2) below:(wherein R1and R2each independently represent C1-3alkyl groups, —O-Et- represents oxyethylene, and k, l, m and n are each integers from 0 to 2);(wherein R represents a C8alkyl group, and n is an integer from 4 to 8).
