To provide an aqueous ink composition which, without impairing ejection stability, is excellent in light-fastness and water-fastness, does not cause cohesion differential, gloss differential, bronzing phenomenon, color-bleeding, and the like, and has improved fixing ability and coloring property.An aqueous ink composition comprising at least water, a pigment dispersed by polymer, a sulfonyl group-containing (co)polymer, and an ultra-penetrating agent.
