An ink bottle mounting apparatus comprising a bottle mounting apparatus body11having an ink bottle1and a bottle insertion chamber12into which the ink bottle1is inserted, wherein the ink bottle mounting apparatus further comprises a bottle lock member15which is engaged with a groove5formed on a side peripheral surface of the ink bottle1to prevent the ink bottle1from being pulled out when the ink bottle1is mounted to the bottle mounting apparatus body.
