ABSTRACT:
An injection molded resin gear1has a rim6having teeth7on its outer periphery, a hub4for receiving therein a shaft, and a web6connecting the rim6to the hub4. The thickness (t1) of the bottom15of the rim6is smaller than the thickness (t2) of the web5. On the side faces8and8of the web5, annular circumferential ribs10, 11and12protruding concentrically with the rim6and hub4are formed. The relationship between the thickness (t1) of the bottom15of the rim6, the thickness (t2) of the web5and the thickness (t3) of the circumferential rib12is t1≦t3<t2.
