ABSTRACT:
Antibacterial compositions comprising 7-[D-.alpha.-amino-.alpha.-(p-hydroxyphenyl)acetamido]-3-(1,2,3-triazol-5- ylthiomethyl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid in the form of a hydrate or a hydrochloride salt and a sodium, potassium or calcium salt of levulinic acid have been found to be stable, useful, water-soluble forms of the cephalosporin antibiotic especially advantageous for parenteral administration.
