ABSTRACT:
There is described finely divided nedocromil sodium, comprising a therapeutically effective proportion of individual particles capable of penetrating deep into the lung, characterized in that a bulk of the particles which is both unaggolomerated and unmixed with a coarse carrier, is sufficiently free flowing to be filled into capsules on an automatic filling machine and to empty from an opened capsule in an inhalation device.
There is also described a method of making the fine particles and pharmaceutical formulations containing them.
