ABSTRACT:
An infrared sensor includes a plurality of reference pixel units2arranged in a matrix pattern and series capacitor elements14provided in a one-to-one correspondence with the reference pixel units2. The reference pixel units2each include an output line30, a reference capacitor element13connected via a switching element17between the output line and the ground, and a plurality of infrared-detecting capacitor elements12connected via associated switching elements16between the output line30and the ground. Each series capacitor element14is connected to the associated output line30.
