ABSTRACT:
An infrared radiator which comprises: a substrate, at least one surface portion of which has an electric insulation property; a metal film, as a resistance heating element, formed on the at least one surface portion of the substrate; and infrared radiating particles, e.g. ZRO.sub.2, Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 and SiO.sub.2, uniformly dispersed throughout the metal film.
