ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to an infra short-day strawberry type and methods for selection as well as induction of flowering of the infra short-day type by subjecting the plant to a relatively long light regime under short-day conditions accompanied by night temperatures from about 10.degree. C. to about 26.degree. C.
