ABSTRACT:
An information reproducing apparatus including a transporting portion for moving a tape-shaped recording medium at one of at least two different speeds, a reproducing head for reproducing the informations from the recording medium as it is run by the transporting portion, and a detecting portion for detecting whether or not the speed of movement of the recording medium during reproduction is coincident with that of the recording medium during recording the informations.
