ABSTRACT:
An outboard motor having a powerhead with a powerhead with a compact internal combustion engine induction system and fuel supply system. The induction system includes a plenum chamber or surge tank that is formed as a housing on an end of the engine opposite to that where the engine induction passage serving the combustion chamber is formed. This common housing also forms passages for carrying fuel between the supply system and the fuel injector including a vapor separator formed integrally in said, housing.
