ABSTRACT:
An indoor unit of an air conditioner including a front frame formed at a front side of the indoor unit, forming an appearance of the indoor unit, and having a side discharge hole formed at least one side thereof. Also included is a rear cover formed at a rear side of the indoor unit and forming a rear appearance of the indoor unit, a heat exchanger received in an inner space formed by the front frame and the rear cover, for performing heat exchange, a blower fan for forcibly blowing air; an air guide for guiding airflow inside the indoor unit, a discharge hole door formed at an adjacent position for selectively opening/closing the side discharge hole, and a transfer part connected with the discharge hole door and reciprocating using a driving force of a motor.
