An inbred rice line designated 054001 is disclosed. The invention relates to the seeds of inbred rice line 054001, to the plants of rice line 054001 and to methods for producing a rice plant produced by crossing the line 054001 with itself or another rice line. The invention further relates to hybrid rice seeds and plants produced by crossing the line 054001 with another rice line.
