ABSTRACT:
Implantable catheter made of medically tolerated synthetic material, whose thermoplastic polymer has an excellent cold flow at 34.degree. C. to 40.degree. C. under a weight load of 40 g/0.2 mm.sup.2, so that, in the case of a continuous tensile load for 63 days, the initial length of the catheter increases by at least 50% in the direction of the longitudinal axis, the extruded catheter tube consisting of three layers connected to each other and arranged coaxially, and the middle layer containing a radiopaque pigment.
