ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a new and distinct variety of New Guinea Impatiens plant known by the cultivar name Apache, and discovered by me in commercial greenhouses in Fremont, Calif. Apache is closest in characteristics to Red Magic, but is particularly characterized by its thicker, richer dark foliage; no variegation; a small red flower that is slightly cupped; a more upright growth habit; and fewer flowers than Red Magic.
