ABSTRACT:
A riser cover is fixed to a shaft which is rotated in bearing projections of a bearing member which is attached to a riser. Impact transmitted to the bearing member upon opening of the cover is absorbed and damped before it is transmitted to the riser. Shock absorbing elements, preferably in the form of plate springs, are positioned between the bearing member and a supporting device of the riser.
