ABSTRACT:
A diagnostic reagent for immunological tests for detecting or measuring a component in human or animal body fluids or for labeling cells, including immunochemicals immobilized on a particulate carrier characterized in that fine particles having an average diameter in the range of about 0.03 to about 10 .mu.m and comprising a cross-linked polymer having a repeating unit represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R stands for hydrogen or a methyl group, are used as the particulate carrier.
