ABSTRACT:
The compounds of the present invention have the formula ##STR1## wherein each of X and Y is oxygen or sulfur, R is hydrogen or lower alkyl, and each of R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 is phenyl, substituted phenyl, naphthyl, substituted naphthyl, aralkyl, a hydrocarbon chain, a hetero group, or a heteroalkyl group, and the compounds are useful in treating atherosclerosis.
