ABSTRACT:
Imines of 2,4'-diaminodiphenyl ethers are effective antioxidants in petroleum and petroleum-related products. Especially desirable are 2,4'-bis-(N,N'-arylmethylideneamino)phenyl ethers, where the aryl moiety is a heteroaromatic group.
