ABSTRACT:
1,5-substituted imidazole derivatives of formula I ##STR1## the stereochemically isomeric forms thereof, and the salts thereof, have useful herbicidal properties. The substituents R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, X.sup.1, X.sup.2, X.sup.3, A, L and m have the meanings defined herein.
