ABSTRACT:
In the imaging apparatus of the invention, a camera assembly200including a camera202is mounted on and supported by a base110in a pivotally rotatable manner in a vertical direction to allow tilting motions of the camera202. First through fourth rollers141through144provided in an assembly fixation structure114of the base110support the camera assembly200to allow pivotal rotation of the camera assembly200. The driving force of a tilting motor160built in a pedestal plate unit130of the assembly fixation structure114is transmitted to frame side faces of the camera assembly200via a tilting worm gear shaft170and a tilting rotation gear172to allow the tilting motions of the camera frame200. This arrangement of the invention enables further downsizing of the whole imaging apparatus applied to, for example, a security camera.
