ABSTRACT:
A mechanism for transferring an image from a first surface to printing media comprising:an impression member having an impression surface;printing media grippers associated with said impression surface adapted for holding an edge of the printing media on the impression member during said transfer and then controllably releasing the printing media after transfer;impression media held on the impression surface such that the impression media extends past the edge of the printing media held by the printing media grippers.
