ABSTRACT:
An image taking lens LA comprises an aperture S1, a first lens L1and a second lens L2which are arranged in this order from an object side to an image side. The first lens L1has a positive power and a meniscus shape with a convex surface facing an object; and the second lens L2has a positive power with a convex surface facing an image. The first lens L1and the second lens L2satisfy the following formulae (1) and (2):in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0.30<R1/R2<0.65 (1)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0.30<d3/F<0.50 (2)in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?This image taking lens formed of the two lenses is small in size and has a high optical performance, in which the entire image taking lens has a short focal length.
