ABSTRACT:
A RIP system (100) includes a multi-screening information generator (102) for generating a multi-screening information file (Dms) which is an XML-format file containing information such as screen ruling, dot shape and screen angle, necessary for assigning a multi-screening operation, and discloses the multi-screening information file (Dms) to outside of the RIP system by storing in a shared disk or a flexible disk. On an input data creation process side, a client machine makes reference to the multi-screening information file (Dms), and thereby assign the multi-screening operation.
