An image processing apparatus includes a number of processing modules which apply a process to predetermined data in inputted print data; a detecting unit configured to detect a processing module that has performed a process during processing by the plurality of processing modules of print data inputted in a predetermined mode; and a setting unit configured to make a setting that enables a processing module detected by the detecting unit, after the end of the predetermined mode.
