ABSTRACT:
The invention provides a semiconductor device of low power consumption and low cost. A semiconductor device50is basically constituted of a semiconductor substrate1and an external signal processing substrate8. The semiconductor substrate1is provided with a memory unit3, a data driver4, an element array2, a scanning circuit35and a clock generator36. When successively outputting an identical data signal to the element array2over a plurality of times, the data signal retained in the memory unit3is utilized.
