ABSTRACT:
An image heating apparatus includes a movable member which is movable with a recording material; magnetic flux generating means for generating a magnetic flux, wherein the magnetic flux generated by the magnetic flux generating means generates an eddy current which in turn generates heat in the movable member to heat an image an a recording material; and a temperature detecting member for detecting a temperature of the movable member, wherein the temperature detecting member is provided outside a predetermined heat generation region of the movable member.
