ABSTRACT:
MFP100transports the document one sheet at a time by means of ADF141to a specified reading position, and judges whether the document is an IC-tagged printed matter by means of IC tag reader143B. If the document is an IC-tagged printed matter, it prints the image data acquired from the IC tag by IC tag reader143B by means of printing unit151. On the other hand, if the document is not an IC-tagged printed matter, it processes it by either one of the methods of optical copying, blank output or no output according to the user's choice. This makes it possible for the device to treat the document with a proper method or the method the user chooses when the document is a mixture of IC-tagged documents and conventional documents.
