An image forming device is provided which can prolong the service life of a fixing roll and provide a good anti-offset property, an image having high surface smoothness and good printing properties.
A fixer for electrophotography, wherein an electrostatic latent image is developed, comprises a fluororesin-coated fixing roll (2, 9) for fixing a toner and a mechanism (5, 12, 12a, 12b) for coating a fluorosilicone polymer as a release agent onto the surface of the fixing roll.
