ABSTRACT:
An intermediate transfer member is constituted by a composite layer member that includes a conductive layer and a resistance layer, which is integrally formed on the conductive layer and to which the visible image is transferred. When a peripheral speed of the intermediate transfer member is defined as Vp (mm/s), the resistance of the resistance layer is defined as Rit and the resistance of the second transfer member is defined as Rt2, the following condition is satisfied:
