ABSTRACT:
An image forming apparatus has a charging unit, an image exposure unit, a reversal development unit, an image transfer unit, and an electrophotographic photoconductor including an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon, the photoconductive layer being provided by coating and drying a photoconductive layer formation liquid containing a solvent, with a change in the content of the solvent in the photoconductive layer dried being 10% or less 24 hours after the drying thereof.
