ABSTRACT:
A display unit5of an image forming apparatus1has an LCD52held with an outer frame51made of resin molding. The display unit5is rotatably attached to a scanner housing21with rotation shafts51a of the outer frame51on the scanner housing21. The LCD52is connected to a circuit board accommodated in the scanner housing21through a flexible circuit board81. A portion of the flexible circuit board81extended outward from the vicinity of the rotation shafts51a of the outer frame51toward the inside of the scanner housing21is covered with a protector53integrally formed with the outer frame51. Thus, a creeping distance between the vicinity of the rotation shafts51a of the outer frame51and the portion of the flexible circuit board81drawn from the outer frame51becomes larger than a predetermined distance necessary for preventing discharge of static electricity to the flexible circuit board81from the outside of the housing10.
