ABSTRACT:
An image display apparatus which removes a signal at an odd number frame (or an even number frame) from a sequential scanning video signal input thereto at a predetermined rate, transmits the residual signal to a memory unit at about a half of the predetermined rate through a transmission line, and reads the content of the memory unit every two times at a rate about equal to the predetermined rate, thereby displaying an image on the respective picture elements.
