ABSTRACT:
It is an object of the present invention to provide an image blur correcting device having a dimension reduced in any one direction perpendicular to the optical axis of the incident light, and a camera equipped with this device. The image blur correcting device300includes a pitching movement frame205, a pitching guide mechanism304, a yawing guide mechanism306, a pitching direction electromagnetic actuator312, and a yawing direction electromagnetic actuator314. The pitching movement frame205supports a third lens group G3for performing image blur correction. The pitching guide mechanism304guides the pitching movement frame205in the pitching direction. The yawing guide mechanism306guides the pitching movement frame205in the yawing direction. The electromagnetic actuator312drives the pitching movement frame205in the pitching direction. The electromagnetic actuator314drives the pitching movement frame205in the yawing direction. The electromagnetic actuator312and the electromagnetic actuator314are provided substantially opposed to each other and with a second optical axis A2interposed therebetween.
