ABSTRACT:
An aspect of the invention provides an illumination structure that can illuminate both a neighborhood of an opening and a storage portion with a simple configuration. An illumination structure1includes an illumination device4provided in an opening3of a vehicle2, and a person can get on and off the vehicle2through the opening3. The illumination device4is fixed to a step garnish5provided in a lower end portion3aof the opening3. A translucent member18is provided in a bottom surface of a storage portion9formed in a door lining10. When a door6is closed against the opening3, the storage portion9is disposed on the step garnish5, whereby the illumination structure1is retained while the illumination device4, a first translucent member18a, and a second translucent member18bline up in the order from the bottom.
