ABSTRACT:
The illumination apparatus comprises a light source unit which has a LED for emitting illumination light, and a condenser lens for collecting the illumination light, and a main body of the illuminator of the apparatus which holds the light source unit and guides the illumination light. The light source unit comprises a heat dissipation plate which holds LED, and emits the heat emitted from LED11; and a lens frame which holds the collector lens and the heat dissipation plate so that the relative position of LED to the collector lens may be changed. The main body of the illuminator has a connection hole for connecting communicatively the inside of the main body of the apparatus to the outside, and holds the light source unit by inserting the lens frame into the connected hole.
