The igniter of the generator is constituted by a deformable plate of solid ropergol bound and fixed on a wooden or metal sleeve mandrel. The plate has open striae parallel to the axis of the support and oriented radially inwards or outwards. The device is useful as an initiator for a solid propergol rocket motor. 1
