ABSTRACT:
An ice making section of a stream down type ice making machine for enabling easy cleaning between a pair of ice making plates and for enabling individual replacement of every component, thereby reducing the cost of replacement.A plurality of mounting members16are provided on an evaporation pipe14in parallel being separated at a predetermined interval in the extending direction of a linear part14. Each of parts to be engaged16b,16bis formed at an open end of each mounting member16. At an open end of each ice making member18formed into generally U-shaped by bending, each engagement part22dwhich is engageable with and disengageable from the part to be engaged16bis formed. By assembling the ice making member18between the mounting members16, 16adjacent to each other so as to engage each engagement part22dwith the corresponding part to be engaged16b, a first ice making section is configured so that the pair of ice making plates are oppositely arranged across the evaporation pipe14.
