ABSTRACT:
In external unit19, three-way valve25provided downstream of CPR23enables a switching connection between CPR23and branch line21A of first bypass line21with respect to liquid line18A. In internal unit20, second bypass line27connects inlet side of receiver13and inlet side of evaporator16, and open/close valve28is provided along second bypass line27. At de-icing, three-way valve25switches to first bypass line21side and open/close valve28opens. There upon, hot gas from compressor11circulates from first bypass line21to liquid line18A to enter evaporator16through second bypass line27while squeezing out liquid refrigerant. Evaporator16is heated by manifest heat of introduced hot gas, and when the internal pressure of vaporator16rises to a condensation temperature over 0° C., de-icing is performed efficiently by manifest heat plus latent heat.
