ABSTRACT:
Disclosed are novel crystals of hydroxyindium phthalocyanine, having distinct diffraction peaks at the particular angles of the Bragg angle (2.theta..+-.0.2) in the X-ray diffraction pattern. An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising an electroconductive support having thereon a light-sensitive layer containing at least one of an amorphous hydroxyindium phthalocyanine and the above hydroxyindium phthalocyanine crystals. The electrophotographic photoreceptor has excellent sensitivity and durability.
