ABSTRACT:
Hydroxy functional acrylamido amino resins comprising hydroxy-hydrocarbyl groups. The resins are produced by reaction of alkoxymethyl amino resins with acrylamide to introduce acrylamidomethyl groups and then with a polyol to introduce hydroxy functionality. The hydroxy functional acrylamido amino resins may be epoxidized to form polyglycidamides which can then be formulated with epoxy reactants to provide curable epoxy systems.
