ABSTRACT:
7-Oxabicycloheptane substituted ether or thio ether prostaglandin analogs are provided having the structural formula ##STR1## wherein A is O or ##STR2## and X is O or ##STR3## and including all stereoisomers thereof. The compounds are inhibitors of .DELTA..sup.5 -lipoxygenase and inhibitors of prostaglandin and leukotriene biosynthesis and as such are useful, for example, as antiallergy and antiinflammatory agents and also as antipsoriatic agents.
